The Hut vineyards were planted in 1990 and 1999 on the Moonambel valley floor, 4 kms from the Dalwhinnie vineyard (we call it our Forest Hut vineyard). All the vineyards are owned and managed by Dalwhinnie and are set up to produce exceptional grapes using 100% estate grown fruit. The climate is 3-4 degrees cooler than Dalwhinnie all year round. The grapes are harvested approximately 3 weeks later than Dalwhinnie. 2010 was a vintage year 9/10.

Colour:
A brilliant bronze-orange reminiscent of a partridge eye, the wine is bright and shiny.

Bouquet:
Heady tropical fruits fill the glass with fresh garden strawberries, kiwi fruit and apricots standing out. Lovely floral notes of fragrant roses feature in the bouquet.

Palate:
Fresh and racy with sweet and sour on the mid palate. This Rose has wonderful barrel ferment texture and finishes clean and fresh on the palate.

Enjoy over the Summer and Autumn months. Serve slightly chilled.
