Colour: Dark cherry red, bright and clear.

Bouquet: A very vibrant and highly fragrant nose showing lifted cherry fruit, roasted spices and fresh vanilla oak.

Palate: The flavour profile is deep and textured displaying rich cherry fruit supported by sweetly spiced French oak, and a fine acidity to hold everything in check. The wine is very balanced with a long lingering flavour. A wonderful example of Pinot Noir.

Winemaker’s comments: I think this is the best Pinot Noir we have made so far. It is our 11th vintage with the evolution of the Dalwhinnie Pinot heading towards a good Burgundy. 9/10 Rating.

Cellaring Potential: 4 – 6 years
